Quick answer

Prescribed CJC-1295 and ipamorelin from US online clinics is listed from about $100 a vial to $229 a month. Bayan lists $149 a month (billed over a 3-month commitment) with medication, a clinician consultation and shipping included, Zepym starts at $229 a month, and Rx Peps Direct charges $100 for a vial of about 25 doses plus a $39 review fee and $15 shipping. To compare CJC-1295 and ipamorelin prices, check the dose in each injection, how long the supply lasts and what you are committing to, not only the monthly figure.

Key takeaways

  • Prescribed CJC-1295 and ipamorelin runs from about $100 a vial at Rx Peps Direct (plus a $39 review fee and $15 shipping, in 28 states plus Washington, DC) to $149 a month at Bayan with medication, consultation and shipping included, to $229 a month and up at Zepym.
  • Clinic prices are hard to line up because the dose in each injection, the vial size, the separate fees and the commitment differ, so ask how many milligrams you get per dose and how many doses you get each month.
  • Bayan's plan cannot be cancelled in the first 90 days, while Zepym says you can pause or cancel anytime.
  • Research peptide vials listed from $23.62 to $62.10 cost less because nobody reviews whether the vial suits you, and FDA says compounded CJC-1295 and ipamorelin may carry a risk of an immune reaction, partly from impurities.
  • CJC-1295 and ipamorelin are not growth hormone: they prompt your body to make more of its own, and one shot of the long-acting form of CJC-1295 has kept growth hormone higher in healthy adults for about a week, while the non-DAC form in most blends is a newer treatment your clinical team tracks with you.

Why do CJC-1295 and ipamorelin prices vary so much between clinics?

Each clinic puts a different amount of medicine in each injection. Zepym's starting dose is 0.24 mg, while Rx Peps Direct starts at 0.4 mg of each peptide. Two prices that both say "per month" may not buy the same amount of medicine. Ask for the milligrams in each dose and how many doses you get each month.

Vial size changes the real monthly cost. At 5 nights a week, a 25-dose vial lasts about 5 weeks, so a per-vial price is not the same as a per-month price.

The fee covers different things. Some prices bundle the consultation, the medication and shipping. Others charge for the medicine, the review and the shipping separately. Add every fee before you compare, or the cheapest number on the page may not be the cheapest month.

Commitment terms differ as much as price does. Bayan's plan cannot be cancelled during the first 90 days and renews month to month after that. Zepym says you can pause or cancel anytime.

The price list will not tell you which form of CJC-1295 is in the vial. Rx Peps Direct says its blend is CJC-1295 without DAC, a different product on a nightly schedule from the long-acting DAC form used in the main human trials. Ask your clinical team which form you are getting.

Why are research peptide vials of CJC-1295 and ipamorelin so much cheaper?

Vendors of "research" peptides list 10 mg blend vials from $23.62 to $62.10 before shipping. That is a different purchase from a prescription.

A prescribed vial is written for you after a clinician reviews your health, and a licensed pharmacy dispenses it for human use. Vials sold as research-use-only skip that step, so the lower price buys you a vial and nobody checking whether it suits you.

Purity matters for these peptides. FDA says compounded drugs containing CJC-1295 or ipamorelin may pose a risk of an immune reaction for certain routes, partly because of peptide-related impurities.

What do CJC-1295 and ipamorelin do for the money?

Neither peptide is growth hormone. CJC-1295 is a lab-made version of the hormone that tells your pituitary gland, the small gland at the base of your brain, to release growth hormone. Ipamorelin prompts growth hormone release through a second receptor. Together they nudge your body to make more of its own.

In placebo-controlled trials in healthy adults aged 21 to 61, one injection of the long-acting form of CJC-1295 raised growth hormone 2- to 10-fold for 6 days or more. It also raised IGF-1, a hormone your body makes in response to growth hormone, 1.5- to 3-fold for 9 to 11 days. No serious adverse reactions were reported.

In an early study of healthy adults, ipamorelin produced a clear rise in growth hormone about 40 to 60 minutes after a dose, without significant effects on other pituitary or adrenal hormones.

Here is what is proven and what is not. The non-DAC form of CJC-1295 used in most blends has not been tested in controlled human studies. Evidence that the pair works better together, or changes body shape in healthy people, is still limited. The studies above measured hormone levels, so you are paying for a newer treatment that your clinical team tracks with you.

What safety questions should you ask before paying for CJC-1295 and ipamorelin?

  • Is it FDA approved? No. Neither form of CJC-1295 is FDA approved as a treatment, and compounded blends are not FDA approved.
  • What side effects should you watch for? FDA has reported serious adverse events with CJC-1295, including a faster heart rate and a body-wide flushing reaction (doctors call it vasodilatory, meaning the blood vessels widen). Ask your clinical team what to watch for.
  • What has FDA said about ipamorelin? Since September 29, 2023, FDA has listed ipamorelin under category 2 for outsourcing facilities (section 503B), the group of substances it says may present significant safety risks in compounding. FDA notes serious adverse events, including death, in a study where ipamorelin was given by IV for gut recovery after surgery. It says it lacks enough information on other injectable routes.
  • What about blood sugar? Reviews of drugs that prompt growth hormone release describe them as generally well tolerated, with some concern that they can raise blood sugar. Tell your clinical team if you have diabetes or prediabetes.

If you want more energy and better support through aging, take the quiz. Our clinical team can prescribe CJC-1295 and ipamorelin if it fits your goal and health history, and your plan will show the dose, the schedule and what to watch for.

FAQ

How long does one vial of CJC-1295 and ipamorelin last?

At Rx Peps Direct, one vial holds about 25 doses, which lasts about 5 weeks at 5 nights a week. Other clinics package it differently: Zepym sends 1 vial per shipment, and Bayan ships the whole 3-month supply at once if you are approved. How long your vial lasts depends on your dose, so ask your clinical team how many milligrams are in each dose and how many doses the vial holds.

Is CJC-1295 in clinic blends with DAC or without DAC?

The blend at Rx Peps Direct is CJC-1295 without DAC, a different product on a nightly schedule from the long-acting DAC form used in the main human trials. Clinic price lists usually do not say which form is in the vial. The non-DAC form used in most blends has not been tested in controlled human studies, so ask your clinical team which form you are getting.

Is CJC-1295 and ipamorelin FDA approved?

No. Neither form of CJC-1295 is FDA approved as a treatment, and compounded blends of CJC-1295 and ipamorelin are not FDA approved. Since September 29, 2023, FDA has listed ipamorelin under category 2 for outsourcing facilities, the group of substances it says may present significant safety risks in compounding. Your clinical team decides whether the blend fits your goal and health history.

How many months do you take CJC-1295 and ipamorelin?

There is no single set length, and Rx Peps Direct says no clinically tested dose or cycle length has been established for this blend. Bayan uses 3 months on and 1 month off, with a 3-month commitment, while Zepym offers monthly, 3-month and 6-month plans and says your physician decides with you whether to continue, cycle or pause. Your clinical team sets your schedule and checks in on how you are doing.
