What did eyebrow studies actually find?

In one split-face trial, participants applied 2% minoxidil lotion to one eyebrow and placebo lotion to the other. After 16 weeks, the minoxidil brows looked fuller in photos, measured wider, had more hairs, and participants rated them higher. Side effects were minor and participants stayed in the study split-face trial.

In a trial of 60 adults with thin eyebrows, 2% minoxidil gel once daily, 0.01% bimatoprost gel, and 0.03% bimatoprost gel all improved brow scores. No treatment came out clearly ahead, though the 0.03% bimatoprost group showed a slightly more favorable response comparison trial. A separate team tested 1% minoxidil lotion against placebo on opposite brows to see if a lower dose could enhance brows lower-dose trial.

These were small, short brow trials. They show what happened for those participants, not what every woman will see. The reports describe results at the final check, not the week change first appeared.
